I had the pleasure of photographing Debbie and her guide dog Mary for part of the Guide Dog’s Christmas appeal.

Debbie began losing her sight during pregnancy, and by the time she gave birth, she could barely see her daughter Amy’s face.

Christmas used to be a difficult time as she struggled to go out and buy presents for Amy. But now Debbie has her life-changing guide dog, Mary, she can really look forward to Christmas again. “She’s given me back my confidence and helped me be the mum I want to be. I can’t imagine life without her.”

A wonderful family and a very worthy charity to support.
